Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers
On April 27, 2011, Henry J. Metscher resigned from his position as Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager Direct Businesses and President of Footwear for Casual Male Retail Group, Inc. (the “Company”). Mr. Metscher has agreed to stay through a transition period and his resignation is to be effective May 14, 2011. Mr. Metscher was a “named executive officer” in the Company’s 2010 Proxy Statement.
Appointment of Officer
Effective Monday, May 2, 2011, the Company appointed Francie Nguyen as the Company’s Senior Vice President - CMRG Direct.
Ms. Nguyen will have oversight and management of all of the Company’s direct businesses, including DXL™, Living XL and our global initiatives in Europe and Canada as we transition our direct business to the Company’s multi-channel DestinationXL™ strategy.
